Sunday, October 13, 2019, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, NY US 11030
Maya Angelou wrote, “The ache for home lives in all of us—the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.” To be welcomed as we are, with all our identities, with our failures as well as our success, with our dreams as well as our origins, is a deep-seated longing in the human psyche. This need for belonging can be met only in a community that sees and embraces each person’s authentic self. At Shelter Rock, we seek to create a loving religious community that offers true belonging to each unique, remarkable soul.
