Worship Service: “White Fragility,” The Rev. Ned Wight
Sunday, January 20, 2019, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, NY US 11030

Robin DiAngelo, an American academic, lecturer, and author studying race in America, has written White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk about Racism, a best-seller published by the UUA’s Beacon Press. On this Martin Luther King Birthday weekend, Rev. Ned will explore some of her ideas as well as reactions to them from members of an Adult Programs seminar last fall.

Following this service and UU café, a Congregational Meeting will take place in the Worship Room.
