Sunday, January 21, 2018, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, NY US 11030
In conjunction with this month’s theme of “disagreeing without being disagreeable,” Rev. Ned will explore the theory and practice of “civility.” In a world where we are in constant contact with other people, some of whom disagree with us or offend us, how are we supposed to manage our interactions with others? Do our values as Unitarian Universalists obligate us to practice civility, even with people who rub us the wrong way?
After the service, plan to stay for UU Café and the Congregational Meeting that follows.
