Directions and Hours

From the Long Island Expressway:

• From Manhattan/Queens – Exit 35 Shelter Rock Road. Left at light.
• From the east – Exit 36 Searingtown Road. Follow service road to Shelter Rock Road at second light. Right on Shelter Rock Road.
• North on Shelter Rock Road 1.3 miles.
• Entrance is on the left. White gates mark the driveway. Buildings cannot be seen from the road.

From the Northern State Parkway:

• Exit 27 Shelter Rock Road.
• North on Shelter Rock Road 1.3 miles.
• Entrance is on the left. White gates mark the driveway. Buildings cannot be seen from the road.

From Northern Boulevard:

• South on Shelter Rock Road from Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) approximately 1/2 mile.
• After second traffic light, watch for two driveways on the right side of road. Second driveway is for Shelter Rock.
• Continue up driveway to parking lot at top of hill. Buildings cannot be seen from the road.

Note: Sometimes GPS does not correctly locate 48 Shelter Rock Rd. Sometimes UUCSR is approximately ¼ mile north of the point identified by GPS.

LONG ISLAND RAILROAD

• There is frequent service from Penn Station to Manhasset on the Port Washington line.
• Take a cab to Shelter Rock (approx. one mile)
