Veatch Board of Governors
The UU Veatch Program Board of Governors is responsible for the overall management of the UU Veatch Program. As specified in the "Veatch Resolution" in the Shelter Rock by-laws, the Board "shall determine policies for the selection of grantees; they shall have the authority to make loans or grants under the Program and shall determine terms and conditions of such loans or grants. Grants to a single grantee in one fiscal year in excess of $75,000 shall require the prior approval of the congregation." The UU Veatch Board of Governors meet monthly for 10 months of the year (September through June). "Policy meetings" alternate with "grants meetings." Observers are welcome at these meetings.
